DAY 2: It’s Time to Say Goodbye

It is a case study based competition where participants identify a business or product that is slowly disappearing from the market and explain the reasons behind its decline. They will analyze changing trends, customer preferences, and technological advancements that have affected the business. The event aims to develop students' creativity, business awareness, and analytical thinking by encouraging them to view the market from a unique perspective.

Participants will present their findings through engaging presentations, showcasing their understanding of market dynamics and their ability to foresee potential shifts in the industry landscape. This competition not only fosters critical thinking but also equips students with practical skills needed in the ever-evolving business world. By exploring the lifecycle of products and businesses, they gain insights into the importance of innovation and adaptability. Ultimately, the event seeks to inspire a new generation of thinkers who are ready to embrace change and drive sustainable success in their future careers.

Participation Rules

  1. Team Composition: Teams may consist of minimum two to maximum four members.
  2. Registration Process: All interested participants must register for LYLS to gain full access to the two-day summit.
  3. Grade Categories for the Competition: There will be two Grade categories for this competition.
    • Category 1: Grades VI–VIII
    • Category 2: Grades IX–XII
  4. Preliminary Selection Criteria: Each team is required to submit a PowerPoint presentation of no more than 15 slides. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, August 20th to the following email address: saygoodbye@lynkube.com,. The selected teams will be announced on Friday, August 21st.
  5. Finalists: A total of 20 finalists, comprising 10 teams from each category, will have the opportunity to present and compete on the event day. The PowerPoint submitted for the preliminary round should be replicated and showcased on the final day. Each team will have a maximum of 3 minutes to present their case study.
  6. Judgement Criteria:Originality & Creativity, Research Quality, Research Data & Impact, Presentation Design, Delivery & Communication Skills
  7. Announcement of Winners: The top three winners in each category will be revealed on Day 2 of the summit. All other participants will receive a Participation Certificate.
